As a practitioner of both the Alexander Technique and the Feldenkrais Method myself, people are are often asking, "What's the difference between them?"

It's a huge subject as there are so many parallels and overlaps, and also so many differences, as well as a few conflicting ideas.
So I was very interested to watch this interview with David Hall on the 2020 Feldenkrais Awareness Summit: Move Better, Feel Better. I thought he gave an excellent presentation, and brought some refreshing perspectives on both approaches.

This is only free to watch for the next 24 hours or so

I had a very stimulating and enjoyable morning at the The Swansea Wellbeing Centre introducing the Feldenkrais Method and the Alexander Technique to osteopathy practitioners and students. Thanks Nicole for the invitation!

Alexander Technique was developed in the 1800s to help actors improve their posture. Now it's gaining popularity among meditators, too.
