The Student Ambassador Scheme is a part of the Swansea Employability Academy (SEA).
There are so many reasons to become a Student Ambassador at Swansea University:
- Meet new friends and gain excellent employability skills.
- Work towards the Student Recruitment Ambassador Award which, on completion, is recognised on your HEAR certificate at Graduation.
- Collect reward stamps for each event you work and win some great prizes.
- Apply for paid Team Leader positions after a year

This year the Student Ambassador Scheme will select and raise money for 3 different charities.
The Student Ambassador Committee have decided that to make this choice, the whole scheme should be involved and have their say. The committee are passionate about this and believe that the charities should represent the scheme's interests as a whole, rather than just their own.
Please, if you are a part of the scheme, could you fill out the short form and select three charities which are most important to you, or use the comment box to suggest a charity that we might not have thought of.

Last week was anti bullying week, but here on the ambassador scheme every week is anti bullying week!
We promote a healthy, friendly and supportive team and work environment, which is fully accepting and embracing of everyone’s similarities and differences! It’s an incredible scheme for meeting new people and forming new connections but also to learn about people’s differences.
I know I’ve met some of the most incredible people since joining the scheme and it’s made so much difference to my self esteem and overall well-being.
So a huge shoutout to every single student ambassador and staff member who makes the scheme what it is and for being so friendly, kind, open and accepting!
