Good afternoon all, if you have been in touch about places for September, you should have received a response today. If not please send me a message and I’ll check for you.

What a last day of the school year!! Some very emotional moments with our year 6 leavers, who I’m sure will go on to Gwyr and be their brilliant selves. Thank you to all of those parents who spoilt our team with chocolates and sweets, beautiful cards and messages and of course, the cupcakes and candle!! We will miss all of the children who won’t be in club for various reasons and look forward to new starters joining us. I will be working out the available spaces this weekend and letting everyone know what we can offer them. We are very happy that we end another year with lots of happy smiling faces (and a few tears), we welcome returning club members and I thank you all for your continued support # #

Thank you so much to Rhossili Sunflowers and Gower Fresh Christmas Trees for renaming the fields ‘Morgan’s Sunflower Field’ in honour of Morgan.

This beautiful arch went up today with sunflowers and lavender, I’m so touched and it’s stunning. Thank you Sarah at BloomingBelles Florist for making it so special.

Make sure you visit this year and I hope you love it as much as Morgan would have.

Thank you to everyone who has enquired about places in after school club in September. The waiting list is in order of contact with me, registration forms will be sent out over the next few weeks. I can say that there is very limited availability, many of our existing club members will be staying with us in the new academic year. Please do feel free to contact me and add your child’s name to the waiting list, but please know that joining the waiting list, or registering for a place is not a guarantee.

Tomorrow is the first day back for club and it’s been lovely looking at the names of all our children who are returning and wishing those well who are going into even bigger school! I’ve been amazed at the demand for after school club which seems to be a sign that our lives as parents are returning somewhat to what they were before the world turned upside down. That does mean we are full before we even start term on most days. Only Tuesday now has any regular spaces.

Hello parents!! Clwb Plantosbach will return on 6 September. As far as I am aware all classes will now end the school day at 3.20 and therefore clwb returns to pre pandemic working practices where care is provided from that time until 5.15. May I assure parents that while restrictions may be lifted, we will still maintain our clean hands regime and all equipment and surfaces will be regularly cleaned. Welcome to our members, both existing and new, we look forward to meeting you. Parents are to continue to collect children from the side entrance and use the bell to let us know you are waiting.
