🎉 What a FUN-tastic week we’ve had at Child’s Play! ⚽🌈

Our Sports Week has been an incredible success, packed with fun, teamwork, laughter and lots of active play!

A huge thank you to Nathan, our fantastic football coach, for challenging the children to a fun football shootout and helping them develop their football skills. ⚽🥅

Another big thank you to Amy from Mini Athletics Swansea and Carmarthen for delivering such an energetic and engaging session – the children absolutely loved it! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

This week has been full of exciting activities including:
🌟 Mini outdoor games including obstacle courses, ping pong and parachute games.
🏉 Tag rugby
🌳 Trips to the park
🎨 Face painting
🎉 Celebrations
🎤 Karaoke
💛 And, of course, plenty of opportunities to play, explore and have fun!

We also celebrated National Play Day on Wednesday by creating beautiful pictures showing each child’s favourite ways to play before doing what we do best… PLAYING! 💚

Now we’re looking ahead to Science Week next week, and we can’t wait for all the exciting experiments and discoveries! 🧪🔬✨

☀️ What a fun packed first week we have had at Holiday Club! ☀️

We have been busy exploring forest fun, creating fairy houses, lots of water play and visits to the park ❤️

I’m sure all of the children (and staff) are exhausted!

🌿🌞 What an AMAZING turnout for the first two days of our Holiday Club! We have loved welcoming so many happy faces and kicking off our first week with our Forest School Week adventures! 💚

The children had a fantastic time exploring our local forest on a Gruffalo Trail, creating beautiful nature frames, hunting for mini beasts and enjoying delicious snacks outdoors in the sunshine. We also had lots of fun with face painting! 🎨🦋🐞

We can't wait for the rest of the week and all the exciting adventures still to come! 🌳✨

As another chapter comes to an end, we just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful families.

This is only the TINIEST snippet of the beautiful cards and thoughtful gifts we have received, and we feel incredibly lucky and grateful for every single one of them. (We have enough alcohol to last us the year)😂.

It has been an absolute privilege to watch your little ones grow, learn, gain confidence, and prepare for their exciting next adventure at school. We’ve also loved building such special relationships with each of our families, and we truly appreciate the trust you’ve placed in us.

To all of our children starting school – we are so proud of you! Keep smiling and never stop believing in yourselves. We know you’ll all go on to do amazing things.

Thank you for letting us be a small part of your journey. We will miss you all so much and wish you every happiness and success in this exciting new chapter.

A teddy’s bears picnic at penclawdd 🧸

The children loved setting up our teddy bears picnic making tea’s, coffee and smoothies for this’s hot summers day☀️

We’re going on a bear hunt was our book choice for the picnic! The children enjoyed using our story blocks to act the story out, make their own bear stories and match the pictures in the book❤️

Finally we made our very own bears 🐻
