We are thrilled to announce that our networking and alumni event was a brilliant success. We had the privilege of hosting a wonderful panel of successful graduates from a range of companies including, Sony, HSBC, Enterprise Mobility, Legal & General and Admiral Insurance Group Plc

A heartfelt thank you to our panel: Rebecca Finch, Rachel Glick, Emily Goodfellow, Ebony Jay Taylor, Rebecca Reardon and Brooke Henley, for sharing your time and brilliant expertise with us.

Some highlights from the panel discussion include questions about overcoming imposter syndrome not only in your work life but personal life too. As well as a discussion on choosing the right path and when to move from job to job as a young person. The discussions also focused on how our panellists overcame their challenges to get where they are today, including work setbacks and the hyper-competitive job market we see ourselves in today. These discussions were a result of the wonderful students, staff and other alumni who attended and sent in questions, as well as asking further questions in the panel.

However, the impact of the panel goes beyond just one evening. We want to thank not only the panel but also the brilliant staff and students who helped foster strong connections between everyone and are providing amazing opportunities for growth and development to our members.

Also, a huge thank you to Dragonfruit Catering for the delicious food they provided for us.

Swansea Women in Business are excited to invite you to come and share your experiences in the working world through a Q&A panel and networking event.

Inspire the next working generation, at this student led event. The event is open to those with a Swansea University School of Management background or those with a unique career journey and non-traditional career paths.

The event will take place on the 14th of march at 6pm on Bay Campus and will likely run till 9pm. Members and Alumni are welcome both online and in person.
