From the 15th October 2024, the Prince's Trust was officially renamed the King' Trust. Mountain Mover's are so proud to continue to deliver the King's Trust Achieve Programme for Home Educating Families.

Congratulations to our Prince’s Trust learners who were submitted for external moderating last month - they all passed 🎉🎉

We are so proud of you all and it’s been an absolute pleasure to help you gain GCSE equivalent certificates and diploma’s - we can’t wait for January to submit more of you 🤩🥰🤩

As of 30th September 2024, Mountain Movers will no longer be running a Friday social group.

We are excited to announce a fun, new beginning for Mountain Movers.

After listening to our home Ed community, we will be delivering themed sessions, workshops, and experiences.

It’s back – Contact’s Counting the Costs survey. It’s a chance for families across the UK to have their voices heard about the financial impact of having disabled children.

The survey looks at everything from extra costs to a parent carer’s capacity to take part in paid work.

It’s that time of year!! We have spaces available for new members 🙂

We restrict the number of families attending as over 90% of the children in our membership have additional needs, and an overwhelming majority have sensory issues.

We offer a safe, secure hall (front door is bolted from the inside with doorbell entry), parking, a fab playground and football field next door, refreshments, and loads of toys/games/crafts.

Our parent volunteers hold safeguarding and first aid qualifications (just in case!) and more than anything - we all enjoy getting together, having fun with the kids and supporting each other 🙂
