‘The school is a happy and very inclusive community, which nurtures and celebrates pupils’ achievements. Pupils enjoy coming to school and feel that the staff give them beneficial support. Pupils make purposeful progress from their starting points, including those with special educational needs. Teachers develop a strong working relationship with pupils and give them interesting activities to undertake. The headteacher’s effective leadership sets a clear direction for the school. Members of staff work well together and this ensures that the school’s provision has a positive impact on pupils’ progress and wellbeing. The governing body has a thorough understanding of the school’s performance and this enables it to challenge the school successfully.’

Great effort from our Year 4/5 boys today at a cluster tournament at Underhill. Some brilliant football played, and battling results! We are very proud of their efforts, particularly without our Year 6s in attendance, on residential. Da iawn to all involved, and thank you to our wonderful parent helper coaches, and Miss Cook, for supporting the team all the way!

Miss Cridland’s class had great fun in the sun this week! They went on a hunt for Welsh sound buttons, listened carefully to the descriptions of the characters and then drew them. What a great way to learn new Welsh words! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Bendigedig!

Last week we witnessed the conclusion of an excellent Bish Games football tournament in Mountain Phase. Lovely to see so many children joining in and representing their houses - some playing football for the very first time! Green House picked up the maximum of 12 points following a victory against Yellow House in the final…however, da iawn to all who took part! Looking forward to the netball tournament, which begins this week!
