Rebecca Fogarty - Councillor for West Cross

Thanks to the great campaign from Tonia Antoniazzi MP, we took delivery of a box of stationery for West Cross Foodbank today. This will be distributed to families who need a bit of extra support with the costs of back to school - thanks to all who donated to the campaign across Gower! The donation box will be in Oystermouth Library for another week so please contribute if you can. 🖊️✏️🗒️

This morning we've been on the free bus down to Mumbles thanks to Swansea Council and had a great time playing Find it for the Foodbank raising money for West Cross Foodbank. Organised by the Mumbles Sea Wall Sale, it's a brilliant way to spend a couple of hours to support a good cause and get to see what's on offer from our wonderful local small businesses. Another brilliant Family Fun Day this morning with Mumbles Community Council at Clyne Gardens. Thanks to everyone who came and made it such a success! The last one is next Wednesday at Highmead Park, 10am-12pm. Not booked? Don't panic, just email [email protected] 🤸

Volunteers Needed – West Cross Caffi and Food Distribution Centre

Do you have a few hours on a Thursday morning? We would love to hear from you!

We are looking for volunteers to help at the West Cross Caffi between 9 am and 12.30 pm on a Thursday. The role is flexible and involves helping with the preparation and distribution of surplus food to support the other volunteers.

It is a great opportunity to meet new people and make a difference in the local community. We have a committed team of volunteers who are really making a difference but need some extra help.
