BRIAN COULTON
Chief Economist
Brian re-joined Fitch Ratings in October 2015 as Chief Economist. His previous employment was at Legal and General Investment Management in London where he worked as Emerging Market Strategist from November 2010 to September 2015.

Prior to that Brian worked for eleven years in the Sovereign Group at Fitch Ratings, including spells in Hong Kong as Head of Asia Pacific Sovereigns and in London as Head of EMEA Sovereigns and Global Economics. He was formerly an Economic Adviser at HM Treasury.

Brian has a Master’s degree in economics from the University of Warwick and a BSc(Econ) from the University of Wales, Swansea. To sign up please click the link in our bio then the form on our linktree (the top one). We look forward to seeing you there!

The economics society is thrilled to present to you an opportunity to go to London and see the UBS London investment banking global markets. We’ll be arriving at 5 Broadgate London on the 1st of February at 10:45, and the day will last until 5, but some may stay longer.
The day will include talks on global markets, and global banking (M&A, DCM, ECM, LCM). Lunch will be provided. There’ll be a session on different programs that UBS offers and a tour of some of the offices. If you wish to attend, please fill out the form in our linktree, which is in our bio. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask us! The sign-up sheet must be completed before the 20th of January!
