Parents and carers can now use the Data Collection feature in MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) to review and update the information we hold about their child.

Please take a few minutes to check that your details are accurate and up to date, including contact details, address and household information, medical information and other relevant details.

Simply log in to the MCAS app or website, select your child and choose Data Collection from the menu.

Keeping this information up to date helps us maintain accurate school records and contact you when needed. Thank you for your continued support.

Year 5 & 6 families, tonight’s the night!

Our Bishop Gore Open Evening takes place tonight, Thursday 1 October, and we would love to welcome you and your child to discover what makes Bishop Gore such a special place to learn, grow and belong.

Come and explore our school, meet our staff and pupils, experience our facilities and find out more about life at Bishop Gore.

Guided tours run every 15 minutes from 4:00pm, with the final tour at 5:30pm.

You can also book a place for our Meet the Headteacher sessions and dedicated ALN Provision sessions.

All October long, we’ll be bringing you SBOOKtacular events, challenges, recommendations and plenty of creepy reading inspiration. Keep your eyes peeled because you never know what might be lurking around the corner!

A mysterious phone call, a chilling disappearance and a story that keeps you guessing right until the end. If you like your books with a healthy dose of suspense, mystery and spooky twists, this one is definitely worth picking up from our Library today!

Join us for our Open Evening on Thursday 1 October and come and explore everything our school has to offer.

There’ll be plenty to see and do, with displays, presentations and activities for Years 5 and 6 pupils to enjoy. Meet our staff and pupils, explore the school and get a feel for our community, our learning and all the opportunities waiting for you.

It’s a great chance to ask questions, have a look around and start imagining yourself as part of the Bishop Gore family.

STUDENT COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVES

A huge congratulations to this year’s Student Council representatives, who have received their badges and are ready to take on their new roles.

Pupil voice is at the heart of everything we do at Bishop Gore. These pupils have been selected by their peers to represent their views, ideas and experiences, helping to make sure that the voices of our pupils are heard across our school community.

We are incredibly proud of our new representatives and look forward to seeing them make a positive contribution throughout the year.

A huge congratulations to our European Bake Off Competition winners!

After plenty of creativity, skill and some very impressive baking, we are delighted to celebrate our winners:

Well done to all of the pupils who took part and showcased their baking skills. The standard was fantastic and we are incredibly proud of everyone who got involved.

Want the chance to see the Swans take on Blackburn Rovers at the Swansea.com Stadium? 🦢

It’s easy peasy!

📅 Attend school every day from Monday 28 September to Friday 16 October.

🎟️ If you achieve 100% attendance during the challenge, you’ll automatically be entered into our prize draw to win one of three tickets to Swans v Blackburn Rovers on Saturday 31 October.

There are three tickets up for grabs, so three lucky pupils will have the chance to win a ticket each.

But remember, you’ve got to be in it to win it!
