-Success for Year 11 Bishop Gore School pupils with outstanding achievements at the top grades!
-Pupils at Bishop Gore School have once again produced excellent GCSE results with 89% of Year 11 pupils achieving at least 5 A*-C GCSE gradesand 28% achieving at least 5 A*-A grades.
-Year 11 pupils at Bishop Gore School have been rewarded for their hard work. Some of the highlights include:
• Over 66% of pupils achieved A*-C grades in English
• Over 24% of pupils achieved A*-A grades in Mathematics
• Over 91% of pupils achieved A*-C grades in Biology, Chemistry & Physics (Triple Science)
• 57% of pupils achieved A*-A grades in Biology, Chemistry & Physics (Triple Science)
• 99.5% of pupils achieved A*-C grades in the Skills Challenge Certificate
• Over 77% of pupils achieved A* - C grades in Welsh
• Over 85% of pupils achieved A*-C grades in the following courses:
Business Studies BTEC, Drama, French, Geography, Health and Social Care, History, Hospitality & Catering BTEC, Physical Education, Religious Studies & Sport BTEC.

Success for Year 13 Bishop Gore School pupils with outstanding achievements at the top grades!

Pupils at Bishop Gore School have once again produced excellent A Level and BTEC results with 100% of Year 13 pupils achieving at least 2 A*-E A Level or BTEC grades, a further improvement on the excellent results achieved in 2025.

83% of pupils achieved at least 3 A*-C grades while 32% of pupils achieved at least 3 A*-A grades.

These fantastic results recognise the hard work and commitment of both pupils and staff and are testament to the high standards, support and guidance experienced during their time at Bishop Gore School.

Some of the highlights include:
*Over 96% of pupils achieved A*-C grades and 39% of pupils achieved A*-A grades in English Literature
*92% of pupils achieved A*-C grades and 68% of pupils achieved A*-A grades in Mathematics
*90% of pupils achieved A*-C grades and 50% of pupils achieved A*-A grades in Physics
*100% of pupils achieved A*-C grades and 78% of pupils achieved A*-A grades in Drama
*100% of pupils achieved A*-C grade equivalents and 50% of pupils achieved A*-A grade equivalents in Sports Coaching
*100% of pupils achieved A*-C grades and 73.2% of pupils achieved A*-A grades in the Welsh Baccalaureate Skills Challenge Certificate

The Headteacher, Mr S. Wilson commented:
"This year we have seen exceptional performance at Level 3, with 100% of pupils achieving at least 2 A*-E grades, ensuring every pupil leaves the Sixth Form with the qualifications required to embark on the next steps in their journey. Furthermore, 83% of pupils achieved at least 3 A*-C grades and 32% of pupils achieved at least 3 A*-A grades. This is a phenomenal achievement for the pupils and everybody associated with Bishop Gore School is delighted for them. These fantastic results recognise the hard work and commitment of both pupils and staff and are testament to the high standards, support and guidance experienced during their time at Bishop Gore School. They also reflect the values at the heart of our school community: encouraging every pupil to believe in their potential, to feel a strong sense of belonging, and ultimately to achieve their ambitions. Our fantastic Year 10 Skills students have been working for months to plan, design and create products to support their end-of-term trip while developing valuable life skills.

They’ve generated ideas, worked as a team and learned about:
💰 Money handling
🎨 Creativity
💪 The rewards of hard work and enterprise

Inspired by our school production of We Will Rock You, they’ll be selling:
🎵 We Will Rock You themed key rings
🍬 “The Killer Queen Mix” bags of sweets
🧁 Delicious homemade cakes
