Each week there will be a different exciting theme for you and your child to discover. Messy Little Cubs is a messy play group for babies and toddlers. The sessions are planned and run by Rachel who is a Qualified Primary School Teacher so is well experienced in the wonderful world of messy play! Babies and toddlers will get the freedom to explore and play with different textures and materials. You will enjoy watching your child engage in these experiences with awe. Each session will focus on an engaging theme and have different stations set up to allow your little one to explore a variety of messy play activities. These will range from water, playdough, jelly, painting and various other materials that squelch and splat! All materials will be taste safe for babies and toddlers, as we all know that your little ones will want to test everything using their mouths! If you or your child have any allergies please contact us to discuss this further so that we can accommodate your needs. There will also be a sensory area to explore and we will have a few songs too. Each session will end with a bath time where your little one has their own bath tub with bubbles and a song. This means that your child will be squeaky clean so that you can get on with the rest of your day! Babies and toddlers love making a mess! Messy play is important for a child's development, it allows them to engage themselves in sensory experiences and explore the world around them. Messy play inspires their curiosity and helps to build independence. Messy play can also benefit the physical development of your child by developing fine motor skills, gross motor skills, strengthens muscles, develop hand-eye co-ordination and spatial awareness. The most important part is having fun and making happy memories together whilst getting messy. And the best bit is that you don't need to worry about any of the cleaning as we will take care of that for you!
