Leigh Academy Ebbsfleet students have been helping pupils at Ebbsfleet Green Primary School with their Gardening Club this module. Both schools have been working hard on their environment agenda and the joint initiatives have been a great success! We started the week in the best way possible with our Culture Capital Day on Monday! Every single year group traded the classroom for the real world and what an incredible day of learning it was!

Our Year 7s stepped back in time exploring the treasures at the History Museum, while Year 8 took on London's iconic maritime history at Tower Bridge and the Cutty Sark. Meanwhile, Year 9 had their minds thoroughly warped by the optical illusions at the Twist Museum! Off-site but working just as hard, our Year 10 and Year 12 students spent the day out in the professional world, gaining invaluable insights during their work experience placements.

We are so proud of how brilliantly everyone represented our school—hands-on learning at its absolute best! 🎒✨

We had a fantastic turnout at our Leigh Academy Ebbsfleet Parent Induction Evening! It was wonderful to welcome the parents and carers of our upcoming Year 7 cohort as they take their first steps into our academy community. 🏫💙

🤝 Community Power: Leigh Academy & Ebbsfleet Green Join Forces!
We are absolutely thrilled to share the incredible success of our recent collaborative community litter pick yesterday!

The enthusiastic students from the Leigh Academy Ebbsfleet Environment Club joined forces with Matt Twigg, Community Navigator, and the wonderful families from Ebbsfleet Green Primary School for a local litter pick.

Driven by a shared passion for the environment, everyone rolled up their sleeves and spent the afternoon tackling litter to ensure our local community stays clean, green, and beautiful.

As you can see from the photos, the event was an absolute triumph! It was inspiring to see students, parents, and children working side-by-side, proving that we can achieve amazing things when our schools and families come together.
This is just the beginning. We hope to continue this brilliant initiative over the following weeks to consistently support the Ebbsfleet community.
A massive thank you to everyone from both schools who gave up their time to make a difference. Together, we are keeping Ebbsfleet green! 💚
