Another wonderful week at little limes Childminding. Soft play, in awe and wonder at swanley park. A visit to the local pet shop and market. Park visit with friends and then a nature scavenger hunt today with another childminder and our friends. We have been focusing on our counting and colour matching and sorting this week.

Had a very festive morning at the garden centre looking at the beautiful trees and lights. We saw so many amazing colours and pretty lights. Of course we had a hot choc break! Playing and learning together!! ☕️🍬🍭🎄

The Children showed so much interest in the hungry caterpillar that we decided to do the hungry caterpillar trail. We explored the beautiful envoirment see all the ducks and wildlife while following the story of the hungry caterpillar. This linked in with our EYFS story telling literacy. This is a lovely way for the children to explore the outside world while still learning. Playing and learning together. 🍎🍌🍰🍑🐛🦋

Lovely morning in the park making flower art in frames. We met up with some other childminders from our area and explored some of the lovely open spaces we have. We spoke about types of flowers and colours and how important it is to look after our green spaces. Playing and learning together 🪻🌷🌼☘️🌹🐞🪲🐝
