Providing memorable outdoor experiences for over 50 years as a Field Studies Centre. Only parts of the old farm house dating from 1500s now remain.

Leeson House, the ideal venue for Primary to A Level fieldtrips, is a secluded and comfortable manor house situated near Swanage on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. It is close to many classic geography, geology and biology fieldwork sites and set within 7 acres of inspiring and diverse grounds. Leeson House is part of the Dorset Council Outdoor Education Service and has been welcoming scho

ols from Dorset and beyond for over 50 years. Prior to it's inauguration as a Field Studies Centre in 1967, the 19th Century manor house was a private boys school, a radar research station during WW2 and a girls boarding school prior to the War.

A really exciting opportunity for young people in Purbeck. The has just opened applications for a Level 2 Ranger Apprenticeship position here in Purbeck. Those applying need to be 16+ (or 16 as of 22nd Sept), not in other full time education and have achieved/predicted an E equivalent in GCSE Maths and English.

Opportunities like this don't come around everyday, and are a fantastic stepping stone into the outdoor/conservation sector.
