Some of you may be aware that my husband suffered a serious heart attack in October 2020, since his recovery he has spent his time fundraising for charities; his most recent being Walking with the Wounded and Make a Wish Foundation.
For his next chosen charity he will be participating in the London Ultrathon (London - Brighton 100 km in 15 hours) at the end of May to raise money for 'Young Lives versus Cancer'.
This is a charity close to our hearts as 1 of our Teenie family is currently undergoing chemotherapy after they were diagnosed with Leukaemia at the beginning of March.
Our Aim is to raise £600 and I'm sure with your help we can make this happen
When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.
At Young Lives vs Cancer, help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you.
