🌿☀️ All sorts of weather and adventures this month 🌸
We’ve been enjoying lots of fresh air and countryside walks, exploring fields full of growing crops and learning all about how farmers help feed us. The children loved spotting the beautiful apple blossoms and running through the bright buttercup fields. 🌼🍏
For World Bee Day 🐝 we explored why bees are so important to our world. The children enjoyed honey tasting (which went down a treat!), making citrus and honey drinks, smelling different herbs, and using their senses of taste and smell to explore new experiences. 🍯🍋🌿
To finish off our adventures, we cooled down with some water play fun on the splash pad, learning about how water flows while splashing and playing together. 💦😊
A wonderful month full of nature, discovery, sensory learning and happy memories. 💚

What a lovely month we've had. Celebrating "The Earth" Looking at things we can grow and how to take care of them, water and land animals, different modes of transport and recycling what we can. (we got front row seats 😄)
The children have built on their knowledge of colours and shapes, sensory experiences through paint, water, soil, plants 🪴
We've talked about seasons changing and how we need to save water, take care of ourselves in the sun, keep hydrated and eat healthy fruit and veg that we can grow 🍓🥦

Treasure hunts, sensory trays, bouncing bunnies, spring chicks (and baby ducklings) sowing seeds.

October fun! We've been spending as much time as possible outdoors before the weather turns. Jumping tree roots, nature hunts and using what we've found to craft and explore using our senses. We've been exploring the start of Autumn. Collecting things, counting and sorting, looking at colours and being creative. Woodland walks, drawing in the mud. All finished off with a hands on bunny experience. Excellent start to a new season 💚

We've had some new adventures and met new friends this month. Visited some local childminders, played at the park, been to a soft play, all great experiences for the children to learn to manage new environments and challenge themselves. We also had a birthday for the children to celebrate with balloons, cakes and party dances. Then just experiencing the great outdoors together. 💚
