Our first HAPPY FRIDAY post and long may it continue! This week has been a full week of getting to know each other, getting into a good routine and becoming ready learners for the year ahead. We are so pleased with how all of your children have settled and celebrated this today in our Special Mention Assembly. Well done to our first golden ticket children who had ice lollies with Sprocket and heard him sing.

Wishing you all a great weekend- thank you for your support this week with outstanding attendance of 100% for two days. We celebrated our weekly 99.2% together this morning. See you all on Monday! ❤️💚❤️

Calling all Coton pupils- we are ready and waiting for you and have spent the summer getting our beautiful school refreshed for new learning and new memories.

The team have been very busy preparing every classroom and we are all excited to see you!

Please be aware that we have had problems with our phone lines again over summer due to the internet provider and IT support so if there is anything urgent on Monday then email [email protected]. We will all be there on Monday 7th September to meet and greet you all at 8.40am on the school gates.

Happy summer holidays! Hope you are all having a great break so far. Today we celebrate our school dog Sprocket turning 5! Thank you all for the yummy treats and dog toys you gave him last week. He is having so much fun with them. He’s now into his forth year as a trained school dog and is always there for our Coton school family. ❤️💚

What a day to remember! As we depart our summer term 2026, we said a fond farewell to our wonderful year 6 students who have grown into amazing little people. We gave them the best send-off with our leavers service in church, their favourite school dinner and an afternoon of fun finished off with a hero’s exit from our Coton family.

The world is your absolute oyster, Oak class- go and reach for the stars! 💚❤️🌟

The past couple of days have been spent sharing outstanding achievements.

We had our last Golden Dove Awards for the year for children who showed outstanding PEACE values during the summer term- Amazing role models!

A staggering 72 children were awarded their summer attendance certificate with 95% and over- wow! On top of this, 42 children were given their summer certificate and badge for 100%. We were so proud to award 15 children with their 100% attendance award for the whole school year!

Furthermore to this, we gave out our reading for pleasure certificates and are thrilled to announce that Mikey and Lily A. won the kindle raffles for the year.

A lovely morning of more celebrations and success…. ❤️💚
