This morning we’re holding a coffee morning for new parents 8.40-9.40. Please come along and chat with a member of leadership or someone from the office. There will be plenty of tea/coffee and cake.

PWJA would like to offer our sincere condolences to all those affected by the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Yesterday we held a whole school assembly and observed a minute’s silence to recognise and remember her life. The respect and empathy displayed by our pupils made us so proud.

A big congratulations to the Flag Football team who travelled to Studley this afternoon to play in their first ever game against St Mary’s School. Great to see them coming home with a win too! Thank you to Mr Winters for your fab coaching, they were brilliant! 😊

Wow, what a fantastic afternoon of Netball seeing PWJA finish in 1st and 2nd place at the South Derbyshire tournament held at PWJA today. Brilliant achievement by all! 😊

A fantastic afternoon at the South Derbyshire Cross Country saw the Year 3 and 6 teams finish in 2nd place overall and the Year 4 and 5 teams finish in 3rd place overall. A brilliant effort from all!

The sporting action continues this week with a number of Year 6 children taking part in the Mini Olympics at Rosliston today and the Year 6 Rounders team finishing in joint first position at the South Derbyshire tournament yesterday. Well done to all!
