Oakthorpe Primary School We are a small, friendly village school in North-West Leicestershire. Our staff, pupils and the school community all come together to create one amazing family!

We are very excited to be joining the Rise Multi-Academy Trust and extending our family. This is our Oakthorpe Facebook account so we are able to post updates quickly to our School FB page and share news and messages with you. We don't use the messaging aspect of this site so please email - [email protected] with any queries. We are happy to accept all our parents as friends and follow

We’ve had so many exciting things happening over the last couple of weeks that we want to share with everyone! A lovely Father’s Day event in school. A fantastic sports day and Saffron Lane competition with some excellent examples of Spirit of the Games. Two outstanding performances of ‘Troy Story’ from our KS2 classes. Last thing tomorrow will be our Leavers Assembly- tissues at the ready as we say goodbye to our amazing Y6 pupils.
