🌈 Our Door Is Always Open
At Church Gresley Pre-School, we believe that working together with families is one of the most important parts of helping your child thrive.
We want every family to feel welcomed, listened to and supported. Sometimes, however, it can be difficult to find the right moment to talk or to ask for help.
💛 Our Open Door Approach
Our door is always open if you:
• Have a worry or concern about your child
• Need someone to listen
• Would like advice or support
• Have something happening at home that you would like us to be aware of
• Need help finding the right service or support
• Simply feel that you need to talk to someone
• You never need to feel embarrassed or worry that something is too small to mention.
🗣️ Our ‘Ask Angela’ System
We are also introducing our discreet ‘Ask Angela’ system to make it easier for families to ask for a private conversation.
If you would like to speak to someone confidentially, simply say:
“I’d like to speak to Angela.”
This is our way of knowing that you would like to have a private conversation away from the usual drop-off or collection environment.
We will find a safe and confidential space where we can listen, support you and, where appropriate, help you access other services or support.
You don't have to explain everything in front of other parents, and you don't need to find the right words — just asking to speak to Angela is enough.

We are here to support you as well as your child. We want Church Gresley Pre-School to be a place where families feel safe to talk, ask for help and know that someone will listen.
