Throwback to about a month ago when hand cutting, turning and baling hay got a little out of hand! πŸ˜… a nice little stock of winter feed though at minimal cost🍴

One of the main issues I suffer with is my brain, which is easily distracted! Whilst doing a completely different job on Saturday I started looking at a small paddock of grass which was rather long, 5 minutes later a scythe, which I inherited but have never used, was sharpened and put to work πŸ”ͺ 3 days later we have just gathered 3 ton bags of dry organic meadow hay for next winters feed, just in time for the rain tomorrow β˜”οΈ with the test complete we now wait for better weather and the mental strength to tackle the main paddock πŸ’ͺπŸ˜… sometimes the old ways are the best ways 😊
