"Let's go fly a kite" The children really enjoyed flying their jubilee kites that we made.

Today we enjoyed some yummy smores and warm squash at forest school today. They were absolutely delicious 😋

Yesterday Cygnets were joined by Swans children for a teddy bear's picnic in our forest school area. We were delighted to see lots of parents and grandparents come along to share a story and a picnic with us. A fun morning was had by all.

Yesterday we visited Snarestone lodge farm shop, to see all of the produce that they sell. They were delighted to see the children and so took them to see the cows/calves, hens and pigs. They then let us have a look at the old yew tree in their garden. The children had a fabulous time! Thank you Snarestone Pumpkin Farm!

This week the children have enjoyed learning all about "on the farm" We have made muddy pigs, created our very own farm shop, designed a farmyard in the tuff spot and sang songs like "old McDonald had a farm"

We have had a busy morning at Cygnets today. We have visited Forest Schools, the children were very excited to see John, upon his return from working at the Vaccination Clinic. We have also been making our own bread rolls.

Cygnets have had a very enjoyable walk around the village this week, We have visited the canal, had a play at the park, been to see the lambs and prepared our allotment ready for planting our strawberries.

We have enjoyed an exciting Easter egg hunt around the school this morning and the children are delighted with their prizes. There were also some fabulous Easter bonnets created for our Easter service in church with the school children, how amazing do they look?
