We have been busy learning about the solar eclipse at nursery! ☀️
We created some pictures to go on our display and had so much fun🌘
If any of our nursery children have any pictures of the solar eclipse please send them in and we can print them to add to our display ☀️🌑🌍

As we have finished for summer we'd like to say a huge thank you to all our amazing families for your thoughtful gifts and kind words – they mean so much to us. 💛

We hope you all have a fantastic summer filled with fun, laughter, and special memories.

To all of our children who are leaving us to start big school, we wish you the very best of luck on your new adventure. We are so proud of you all and know you'll do amazing things. We'll miss each and every one of you! 🌟

Next Wednesday 15th July we will be having a party in nursery to celebrate.
There will be party food and dancing for all to enjoy.
If your child does not attend that day please speak with your key worker to book a place.

As part of the World Cup celebration, on Wednesday 1st June children are invited to come dressed in clothing that represents their culture, heritage, nationality, or family background. Participation is completely optional, and children are welcome to wear their usual clothes if preferred.

To keep that children cool and safe at nursery if any parents would like to send their children with UV protection wear/costumes to save changing clothes when they get wet during outside play time 💦☀️🩱

Unfortunately due to the extreme weather on Friday 26th June our end of term picnic will not be going ahead‼️‼️‼️

Over the past few weeks some of our older children have been to visit white post farm to take part in the little farmers experience 🚜

We have seen lots of different animals, we have seen cows, pigs, sheep, armadillos and even owls and ducks . 🦆🐖🐑🐄🦉

All the children have loved meeting the animals and exploring the farm 😊

☀️ Hot Weather Advice for Early Years ☀️

As the weather gets warmer this week, please help us keep our children safe and comfortable by following these simple sun safety measures:

👒 Ensure your child comes to nursery wearing a sun hat.
👕 Dress children in lightweight, loose-fitting clothing that covers their shoulders where possible.
🧴 Apply a long-lasting sunscreen before arriving.
💧 Send a named water bottle so children can stay hydrated throughout the day.
🌳 We will encourage children to play in shaded areas and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during the hottest parts of the day.
😊 Staff will monitor children closely for signs of overheating and ensure regular drinks and rest periods.
