We spent Earth day in our favourite place - chasing and rolling in the grass while looking for Bugs, looking for spruts and flowers that have appeared since our last visit, finding treasure to show our friends, stroking the tree blankets (moss) and rushing to the snail tree to count the snails 💙💚

School readiness isn't about counting and phonics but rather everyday skills and early concepts which can be practiced at home in fun, everyday opportunities.

As we move into the last school term of the settings will start talking more and more about the move to 'big school' - re-assure your little ones that you, and their new teachers, will support them with this transition and be there to talk to them about any worries they may have.
