Congratulations to Isabelle A who has successfully auditioned to be in The English Youth Ballet’s performance of Swan Lake at Wolverhampton Grande Theatre. This is the latest in a long string of successful auditions for her and will be a wonderful experience - well done Isabelle!

Some of our little dancers are moving up, as they are going to school. This means we have places in our Pre-School class! A sad but proud day today as we say goodbye to our lovely Layla. She is embarking on a new journey at Urdang to further her career in dance and musical theatre. This is a great achievement and we couldn’t be happier for her, as Layla has been with us since she was very small. We will miss you, Layla, but wish you all the very best. ❤️

- We are not a dance club, we are registered with the Royal Academy of Dance and International Dance Teachers Association and both our principals are highly qualified, meaning we can deliver quality training to our students.

- Many of our pupils have gone on to further their dance training at colleges such as Urdang, Addict Dance Academy and BOA Academy, take part in programmes with Elmhurst/Royal Ballet, plus some have also become teachers themselves.

- We are a family run, friendly school and cater for all ages and abilities, from pre-school age right up to adult classes. We cater for both the once a week student up to those who wish to take their dancing further, including vocational ballet, pointe, competition work and private lessons.

- We offer a free trial for children’s classes and a wide range of subjects, including tap, ballet, acrobatic dance, contemporary jazz and theatre craft.

- We have a small but successful festival/competition team, often coming away with many medals and offering children chance to perform on stage.

- All children also get to perform at our shows and are able to show their progress by entering exams.

A huge congratulations to 4 of our girls who entered an extra competition this month. 21 dances entered and 21 medals won, plus all 4 girls picked up at least one gold medal! Results as follows:

May Day class with our lovely adults! Our adult ballet classes run on Monday mornings and Thursday evenings, a great way to improve posture, strength, fitness, coordination plus have fun and make new friends.

What a lovely way to start the week! Our Monday adults always brighten up the morning.

We are so proud of our dancers! Three fabulous weeks and a total of 43 medals (including 18 gold) plus Daisy, Rhiannon and Olivia won a trophy for their lyrical trio. Everyone danced beautifully and we are proud of every performance, whether a medal was won or not. So rewarding to see the improvement in you all!

We would like to thank the organisers for a lovely, friendly festival as always. A great time was had by all.
