Great cooks aren’t born… they learn by having a go! 👩🍳
And children don’t need to get everything right first time either.
Cooking gives them a safe space to try, make mistakes, ask questions and have another go.
That’s how real confidence is built.
Hit the follow button if you agree that mistakes are part of learning.

Every single member of the Pudding and Pie team is completing additional Benedict’s Law training alongside our usual food hygiene and allergy training.
Why?
Because when parents and schools trust us with their children, we take that responsibility incredibly seriously.
For us, training isn’t about ticking a box. It’s about making sure every person delivering a Pudding and Pie session has the knowledge, confidence and understanding to keep children safe — particularly those living with food allergies.
Benedict’s Law was created following the heartbreaking death of five-year-old Benedict Blythe, who died after an allergic reaction at school. His story is an incredibly important reminder of why allergy awareness, clear procedures and education matter so much.
We work with thousands of children, all with different needs, every week. We can never remove every risk, but we can make sure our team is as informed, prepared and vigilant as possible.
Because children’s safety will always come first at Pudding and Pie 💘👩🍳

You don’t need to be the loudest person in the room.
🔴 There’s a misconception that business owners are all extroverts.
Confident.
Outgoing.
Always “selling.”
🟢 Some of the most successful women I know are quietly confident.
They care deeply.
Work hard.
And build genuine relationships.

Schools aren’t just looking for another activity… they’re looking for impact. 🍎
Teachers want children to be engaged, learning and developing skills they can take beyond the classroom.
That’s where practical cooking sessions can make such a difference.
Children are learning to follow instructions, work together, solve problems and become more independent—all while having fun.
Tag a teacher who would agree!
