Wylde Green Day Nursery

The Infants have took part in a colour match train. They used objects around the nursery to match the colours on the train alongside their friends. They identified the colours of the rainbow and successfully sorted the items into the correct colours. 🌈🚃

The children have been creating firework inspired artwork. They used glue to spread onto their black card , creating brushed strokes on the paper. They then painted the colours onto the card and sprinkled salt over the top, giving the effect of sparkles. 🎆😁

Another fun filled session during our weekly spanish sessions with Adele! The children took part during interactive circle games, used props to sing and dance with and ended the session with bubbles!

The Children have been busy creating Mini Pizzas. 🍕They used their fine motor skills and worked together to prepare the toppings for their pizzas. They chopped up tomato and pepper for their pizza using the child friendly knives. The children chose their favourite toppings and were also encouraged to try new tastes and textures too.

The Children used their imagination during the exploration of the home corner. Alongside their friends they created yummy meals, looked after the babies and enjoyed dressing up too. 😁

The preschool children took part in a Skittles Science experiment. 🌈
They firstly arranged the skittles on the plate, ordering them like the rainbow, discussing the colours and counting as they placed them down. They then added water to the centre and watched as the magic began. The colours slowly dissolved from the sweets and spread towards the middle, creating a beautiful rainbow pattern.

The children made Jam sandwiches as part of their cooking experience! 🥪
They used their Listening and attention skills to follow the instructions, discussing the steps to make a Jam sandwich. They were supported by their teachers to spread the butter and Jam using the knife and then cutting their sandwi

The children enjoyed a game of large scale connect 4 in the garden with their friends. The children played with their friends and teachers, gaining effortful control and learning to turn take! They enjoyed counting whilst playing. 😁

Today, we're sharing these wonderful smiles that brighten our hearts and remind us why creating positive experiences for children matters so much. Every smile tells a story, and each one is a reminder that kindness, encouragement, and love can make a lasting difference

The little preschool children enjoyed this construction roleplay activity. They used their imagination to explore alongside their friends, using the diggers to dig the mud and rocks. They enjoyed transforming into construction workers, using the hard hats and glasses. 👷🔨
