It’s been a busy few weeks at Preschool - from thinking about our emotions , especially love at Valentine’s Day to exploring and enjoying lots of lovely stories and activities during World Book Day week.
We have some places available - so if you know of any children (from 2yrs) who love to have fun, and would benefit from learning in a warm caring environment 😊 - feel free to get in touch.

Feet.. feet.. feet.. !!
Our feet, animals feet - who has the longest?? who has the widest?? What can we do with our feet? what can we feel?
Lots of fun exploring animals and feet this week at Preschool !

We have started off the new term looking at signs of Winter and thinking about animals which hibernate and those who live in wintery cold environments, using picture maps, crafts and stories to help us. We have explored lots of ice, sliding ice penguins, coloured ice and watched as it melts and changes. We have made cotton wool snowman, melting snowman and even some tasty biscuit snowmen too !!

Its been a fun filled and busy few weeks in the run up to Christmas at Preschool. We have made our own Christmas cakes, posted and made cards, enjoyed lots of imaginary play in our role play area and put on a lovely Nativity play. We finished the term off with a fun Christmas party too!

Its all about celebrations and festivals this half term. We started off thinking about Bonfire night, making our own paint 'splats' of colour and using lights to create shadows and movement. We have made poppies and a poppy banner for Remembrance Day and then we have thought about how we celebrate Birthdays and had a fun week celebrating our own Red Bod's birthday - making patterns on balloons, writing cards and holding a tea party
