🐾🦎 We’re Going on an Animal Hunt! 🐍🐌

What an exciting day we’ve had at Seesaws Day Nursery! 🌿🐾

On Tuesday, the children had a very special visit from Zoo Lab, where they got the amazing opportunity to meet and learn about lots of different animals! 🥰

We met Gary the Snail 🐌, Lucy and Larry the Cockroaches 🪳, Snowdrop the Snake 🐍, and Sally the Stick Insect 🪵🦗!

The children were fascinated as we explored each animal, learning interesting facts and discovering how they move, what they eat and where they live. 🌎❤️

We even went on our very own “We’re Going on an Animal Hunt!” adventure! 🔎🐾

It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience, and we are so proud of how brave, curious and gentle the children were when meeting our special visitors. 🌟

A huge thank you to Zoo Lab for such a memorable and exciting experience! 🐾💚

🐾 **ZooLab is Coming to Seesaws!** 🐍🦎 #

We’re excited to welcome ZooLab to our 2–4 year olds for a very special Animal Hunt Workshop!🐾

ZooLab brings the animal experience directly to us, giving children the opportunity to **meet and learn about some amazing animals up close in a fun, interactive and age-appropriate session.

To make sure all of our 2-5's children have the opportunity to take part, we will be running two workshops:

Tuesday 29th September

🕤 9.30am – 10.00am**
🕙 10.00am – 10.30am**

The children will enjoy an exciting animal hunt, discovering some of the wonderful creatures ZooLab brings along and learning lots of interesting facts along the way! 🐌🕷️🐍

We’re sure it will be a lovely experience for the children and we can’t wait to see their reactions! ❤️🐾

🏃‍♀️💪 National Fitness Day at Seesaws! 💪🏃‍♂️

We’ve been keeping active and having lots of fun today! 🌟

Our 2–3s have been jumping through hoops and zooming around the garden on their bikes 🚲, while our Pre-School children have been running, jumping, climbing and sliding their way around our obstacle course! 🧗‍♀️🏃‍♂️

And it wasn’t just the children having all the fun… even Kirsten had a go! 😂🙌

A brilliant day of getting active, building confidence, developing physical skills and, most importantly, having fun together! ❤️

🐾 Can you help an animal shelter? 🐾

We have some used blankets at nursery that we would love to give a new purpose to rather than see them go to waste. ❤️

We wondered if anyone knows of a local animal shelter, rescue centre or animal charity that would be able to make use of them for dogs, cats or other animals in their care. 🐶🐱

If you know somewhere that accepts blanket donations, please comment below or send us a message.

We’d love to help keep some rescue animals warm and cosy! 🐾❤️

SCREEN TIME – SUPPORT FOR PARENTS

Screens are a big part of family life today, and we know that finding the right balance can sometimes feel difficult.

As part of our support for families, we wanted to share some helpful guidance for parents in Birmingham about children and screen time.

* Looking after children's wellbeing
