Let’s make a rain bottle! ☔️

Babies had a fun time making their own rain bottles! The babies were very curious and enjoyed exploring the different sounds made by their creations. This activity really supports their fine motor skills as they hold the bottles and scoop up the shiny blue water. Overall, our little explorers loved this experience, and it provided a fantastic learning opportunity for them!

The very hungry caterpillar 🐛
The toddlers have been busy exploring “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”. Together, they figured out how much of each fruit the caterpillar eats as it prepares to become a beautiful butterfly. This activity is fantastic for developing their hand-eye coordination and promoting colour recognition. Overall, the toddlers had a lot of fun with this activity, and it was great to see their enthusiasm!

Preschoolers have been having a fantastic time learning about the life cycle of frogs! Our little explorers were very curious as they investigated the texture of frog spawn, which we used Chia seeds for. We discussed where frogs live and their life cycle together. This activity provided a wonderful learning opportunity, allowing the children to use nets to “catch” frogs, which helped enhance their fine motor skills. Overall, preschool enjoyed a lot of fun while exploring the habitats of frogs! 🐸

Babies enjoyed a delightful time exploring our “Humpty Dumpty” themed tuff tray this week! They were eager to investigate the various materials presented and particularly loved using the blocks to build a wall that they later knocked down. This activity provided an excellent learning opportunity, encouraging fine and gross motor skills while also enhancing their communication and language abilities as they sang along to “Humpty Dumpty”. It was a great way for them to engage with the song and develop new skills through play.

The children were curious and excited to explore the different scents of the lemons, and some even tasted them! Overall, it was a delightful experience that provided a great learning opportunity for everyone involved. The preschoolers truly enjoyed this hands-on activity!
