As we come to the end of another school year, we also say goodbye to five valued members of our Sutterton Fourfields family: Mrs Baker, Mrs Osborne, Miss Burns, Miss Woods and Mrs Wainwright.

Each of them have made a lasting difference to our school community through their dedication, kindness and commitment to helping our children learn, grow and thrive. Whether they have been with us for many years (33 Years for Mrs Osborne!) or a shorter time, each have left their mark on our school, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they have contributed.

On behalf of all our pupils, families, staff and governors, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you and wish them every success and happiness in the next chapter of their journeys.

💙 You will always be part of the Sutterton Fourfields family, and you will be greatly missed. 💙

What a fantastic way to end the term in Regents with a bit of DT. Each child traced round their template, carefully stitched their puppets, followed their plan for their design and most importantly helped each other every step of the way. I must have heard “Miss… my thread’s gone again,” over 100 times but their patience, teamwork, and adorable creations made every rethread worth it 🪡🧵

These outstanding results reflect the strength of our school community, the dedication of our staff across every year group who build strong foundations for learning, and the unwavering support of our families.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support our KS2 production! 🌟
It was wonderful to see so many families and friends in the audience, and we hope you enjoyed the show as much as our children enjoyed performing it.

We are incredibly proud of every single pupil for their hard work, confidence and enthusiasm. They have spent weeks learning lines and songs - their dedication really shone through on stage.

A special thank you also goes to our staff who worked behind the scenes to make the production possible.

Today was a very exciting day for our Year 6 children as they received their much-anticipated leavers' hoodies! 🎉💙

A huge thank you to our wonderful PTFA for generously providing these special keepsakes. We know our Year 6 pupils will wear them with pride as they celebrate their final weeks at school and create lasting memories before their next big adventure.

🎉 Non-Uniform Day – Friday 26th June 🎉

To help support our PTFA Summer Raffle, we will be holding a Non-Uniform Day on Friday 26th June.

Children are invited to come to school wearing their own clothes in exchange for a donation towards the raffle, if you are able to contribute.

Every donation helps us raise funds for activities and resources that benefit all of our pupils.

This week it was the boys’ turn at Dynamos Cricket at Boston Cricket Club.

The team played superbly, showing great sportsmanship and teamwork to qualify for the semi-finals. Unfortunately, they just missed out on a place in the final, but they picked themselves up and went on to secure third place in the play-off match. A brilliant day all round, enjoyed in fantastic weather. ☀️🥉

A reminder that we are a Platinum Award school for the outstanding sporting opportunities available to our children. 🏏

On Friday, our Year 6 girls' cricket team, supported by three Year 4 girls, competed in the Boston and District Girls' Cricket Tournament at Boston Cricket Club. We are super proud of them all, winning all of their games and reaching the final. They eventually lost out in a close final, finishing in second place. Well done, girls! 🏏 🏆

Celebrating the Commonwealth Games! 🏅

Our Central Class and St James Class had a fantastic time celebrating the Commonwealth Games through a variety of fun and engaging sports activities. Pupils enjoyed taking part in challenges that promoted teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship while learning about this exciting international sporting event.

We were also delighted to welcome our special visitor, Callum Johnson, who shared his experiences of competing at the Commonwealth Games. The children were inspired by his journey, dedication, and achievements, and loved having the opportunity to meet a real Commonwealth athlete.

A wonderful day of learning, activity, and inspiration for everyone involved! 🌟🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🥊
