🎓✨ CONGRATULATIONS, YEAR 13! ✨🎓

A huge congratulations to our Year 13 students on their fantastic A Level and Level 3 Vocational results! 💜

This year, nearly half of all A Level entries achieved A–B grades*, with three quarters achieving A–C*. Our Level 3 Vocational students also achieved brilliant results, with two thirds of grades awarded at Distinction or Distinction*. 🌟

We are incredibly proud that the majority of our students will now be progressing to their first-choice university or vocational training provider, with students securing places at universities including Oxford, UCL, King’s College London, Warwick, Bristol, Exeter, Manchester, Nottingham and Bath, alongside exciting apprenticeships and vocational pathways.

These results are a wonderful reflection of the hard work, resilience and ambition of our students, as well as the dedication of our staff and the invaluable support of families and carers.

To our Class of 2026, you have truly embodied our ethos: Aim High, Be Brave and Create Positivity. 💜

🥾🌿 Duke of Edinburgh Adventures 🌿🥾

What an incredible year it has been for our Duke of Edinburgh participants! 👏

From practice expeditions in Newlands Corner and the Surrey Hills to completing their Bronze and Silver qualifying expeditions, our students have shown outstanding resilience, teamwork and determination every step of the way. They navigated challenging routes, developed valuable expedition skills and grew in confidence with every adventure.

We are so proud of everything they have achieved and the way they supported one another throughout their journeys. A huge thank you also goes to our dedicated staff and volunteers, whose time, encouragement and commitment helped make these experiences possible.

Congratulations to all of our Bronze and Silver participants on a fantastic year of adventure and achievement. Here's to many more exciting expeditions ahead! 💙⛰️

What an incredible privilege it is to see our students representing Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form on one of the world's biggest sporting stages.

From the Guard of Honour to the Trophy Party, our Wimbledon Ball Girls have embraced every opportunity with professionalism, confidence and pride. We were especially delighted to see Lily R take part in the prestigious Trophy Party, carrying the Ladies' Singles Runners-Up Trophy, while Ava S and Edith R proudly formed part of the Guard of Honour, giving them the unforgettable opportunity to meet HRH The Princess of Wales.

Seeing our students featured in these wonderful moments is something we are immensely proud of. Their dedication, commitment and countless hours of training have all led to experiences and memories that will stay with them for a lifetime.

Congratulations once again to all 11 of our Wimbledon Ball Girls. You have represented yourselves, your families and our school with such grace and professionalism. We couldn't be prouder of every single one of you. 💜🎾

As we head into the summer holidays, we wanted to share a piece of artwork created by Arya S that carries an important reminder:

Sometimes, taking a break from the routine and structure of school can feel exciting, but for others it can also bring uncertainty. However you're feeling this summer, we hope you remember that it's okay to take things one day at a time, to ask for help when you need it and to be kind to yourself.

Mental health is something we care deeply about at Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form, and we are incredibly proud of Arya for creating such a thoughtful piece that offers reassurance and hope to everyone who walks past it in our Blue Building.

As another school year comes to a close, we hope all of our students have a restful, happy and safe summer. Look after yourselves, look after each other, and remember...

🍦☀️ A Sweet Surprise for Year 8! ☀️🍦

Yesterday, our Year 8 students were treated to a very special surprise... an ice cream van! 🍦🎉

The afternoon was a well deserved reward for all of the hard work, dedication and positivity they have shown throughout the term, as well as celebrating the exciting milestone of choosing their GCSE options for next year.

It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the sunshine, spending time with friends and cooling off with an ice cream after such a successful term. Moments like these are a fantastic way to recognise our students' achievements and celebrate everything they have accomplished together.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 8 students and hope they enjoyed every minute of their surprise reward. Here's to an exciting next chapter as they begin their GCSE journey! 💙✨

Our dancers recently took part in Summer in Motion, an inspiring event hosted by Roehampton University, where they had the opportunity to develop their dance skills, collaborate with students from other schools and experience university life. ✨

The day included a choreography workshop, a tour of the university's fantastic dance facilities and theatre spaces, and the chance to rehearse with professional lighting before performing their 'Purple Rain' routine in a showcase to fellow dancers and teachers. 🎭

It was a brilliant opportunity to build confidence, make new connections and perform in a professional environment. We are so proud of how enthusiastically our students embraced the experience and represented the school so brilliantly. 💙👏

🎭✨ House Drama 2026 ✨🎭

What a fantastic evening of drama, creativity and talent! Our annual House Drama competition saw 40 students take to the stage to perform a selection of classic Grimm Tales, with each house delivering their own unique interpretation. 📖🎬

From Snow White and Hansel and Gretel to Ashputtel and Little Red Cap, every performance was packed with energy, confidence and creativity. A huge well done to our student directors, who led rehearsals with professionalism and enthusiasm, helping to create such engaging and entertaining productions. 👏

🏐🌟 London Borough Beach Volleyball Tournament 🌟🏐

A huge congratulations to Riley L (10T), Shaheera K (10T), Ece S (10T), Emily D (8P), Anino B-A (8E) and Grace H (8G), who proudly represented Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form at the first London Borough Beach Volleyball Tournament at Crystal Palace. 👏

The team performed brilliantly, finishing second in their group to progress to the quarter-finals before ultimately securing an impressive 7th place overall. 💪

This achievement reflects the incredible commitment the students showed in the lead up to the tournament, attending daily lunchtime practices and even taking part in an additional two-hour training session the day before the competition.

We are so proud of their determination, teamwork and resilience throughout the day. They represented the school brilliantly and should all be incredibly proud of what they achieved. Well done, team! 💙

🥾🌿 Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Expedition 🌿🥾

A huge well done to all of our Year 9 students who have taken part in their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Expeditions over the past week! 👏

Our first groups set off on 2nd–3rd July, with more groups completing their expedition on 6th–7th July. Throughout the experience, students demonstrated resilience, teamwork and determination as they navigated their routes, carried all of their equipment and worked together to overcome every challenge along the way.

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is all about stepping outside your comfort zone, building confidence and creating lifelong memories, and our students have done exactly that. We are incredibly proud of the positive attitudes, perseverance and maturity they showed throughout each expedition.

A huge thank you to all of the staff and volunteers who supported the expeditions and helped make the experience such a success.

Well done to every student who took part. You have represented Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form brilliantly and should all be incredibly proud of yourselves! 💙

A huge congratulations to Alba T, who recently took part in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5K as part of Team Twycross, raising an incredible £1,374 for Cancer Research! 👏✨

This is an amazing achievement and a true reflection of Alba's dedication, determination and kindness. Taking on the challenge while raising such a fantastic amount for an incredibly important cause is something to be immensely proud of.

Everyone at Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form is so proud of Alba and the difference she has helped to make through her fundraising. 💙
