We’re incredibly proud to see our Performing Arts students are heading in all sorts of exciting directions after their Level 3 studies. Performing Arts doesn’t close doors. It opens them. Their Level 3 Performing Arts course has given them far more than performance skills. It has developed their ability to communicate, collaborate, problem-solve, lead, present ideas and work with confidence. One course. A world of opportunity. Performing Arts can take you anywhere.
We’re looking forward to welcoming and meeting the next generation of Performing Arts students at Sixth Form enrolment tomorrow.

Fab night The Producers last night finally caught the show. Andy Nyman is fantastic in the lead role, bringing huge energy, warmth and plenty of laughs. He is wonderfully supported by Marc Antolin and a terrific ensemble who work together beautifully. There are so many great comic moments throughout, making this a hugely entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable production. A real joy!

🎭 What a way to finish our Birmingham residential!
Our final night took us to Birmingham Rep to see Sweeney Todd, with an outstanding performance from Ramin Karimloo. His voice was simply phenomenal and a real masterclass for our performers to experience live.
After a brilliant few days of theatre, inspiration and time together, Sweeney Todd was the perfect finale! Birmingham Rep Ramin Karimloo

🎭 West Side Story… from the other side of the stage!
Our Sixth Form residential to Birmingham is well underway, and after performing our own Pro-Show production of West Side Story at the Rose Theatre, it was brilliant to head to the theatre and see National Youth Music Theatre take on the show.
There was plenty for our students to spot, compare and be inspired by, but the epic tap version of “Gee, Officer Krupke” was a particular highlight! 👞🔥 George Beet
Seeing another young company tackle a show we know so well gave our students plenty to think about, talk about and take back into their own performing.
A great few days of theatre, inspiration and time together… and we’re not finished with Birmingham yet!
Every now and then you see a production that reminds you exactly why you fell in love with musical theatre.
Tonight’s Jesus Christ Superstar at the London Palladium was one of those. Bold, powerful and brilliantly performed, with sensational vocals, an outstanding cast and a band that absolutely drove the whole show. Every element just works.
I loved this show when it was originally created at Regents Park Open Air Theatre it is genuinely one of the best combinations of direction, choreography and design. If you can get a ticket, go. You won’t regret it.
