Gabriel Mesh and his band bring an exotic and eclectic mix of Blues, Soul, Swamp and Rock and play brilliantly crafted originals alongside some well-chosen and re-imagined covers. Gabriel Mesh & The Gas are laser-focussed in their intent to bring good times to every venue they play.

Gabriel is a long-time friend and supporter of The Sound Lounge and has helped us out by playing fundraisers for us when we were struggling financially. Gabriel even pitched up at The Sound Lounge last week and spent the morning removing graffiti from our window when it was vandalised last week! What a guy!

Coming up, two weeks today at The Cavern Freehouse, Gabriel Mesh & The Gas will be back!

Bit of a big day here at Repercussion Drum School, as it’s the last Saturday I’ll be open for drum lessons. For as long as I can remember, I’ve taught on Saturdays but i took the decision back in January that I’d go to just Monday to Friday from April, and I gave the students plenty of notice that I’d be stopping. I’m looking forward to having full weekends again to spend some more quality time with friends and family.

It’s almost time folks. Coming up this Sunday at 4:00 pm. We can’t wait to play for you all again at our favourite venue !

As it’s March, I’m revisiting this classic book this month. 150 snare drum solos!
