Two fantastic Sports Days at the SHS Sports Ground for our boys in Years 3-8!

From impressive performances on the track and in the field to the wonderful encouragement on display throughout, these events captured so much of what makes SHS special. It was particularly lovely to see the younger boys supported every step of the way by their Year 8 buddies.

Well done to all the boys for their enthusiasm, effort and sportsmanship and to all our wonderful families for coming along too!

As they prepare to leave SHS, some of our Year 8 boys returned to The Rowans yesterday, where their school journey first began. It was lovely to see them spending time with the children and revisiting a place that holds so many memories.

Congratulations to our 1st XI cricket team who were crowned Plate winners at the Reigate 6s!

Competing in a very strong field, the boys showed great skill, resilience and teamwork throughout the day to secure an excellent result.

Surrey Rugby Coach of the Year!

A huge congratulations to Mr Davison, who was named Surrey Rugby Coach of the Year at last night’s Surrey Rugby Awards.

A thoroughly deserved honour and wonderful recognition of his dedication to the game. Everyone at SHS is immensely proud of this fantastic achievement.

We are delighted to celebrate another outstanding year of scholarship success at SHS, with 29 scholarships awarded across Academic, Sport, Music, Drama and Design & Technology.

These awards reflect the wide range of opportunities available at SHS and the hard work of the boys who have earned them. Congratulations to all our scholarship recipients!

National Finals success for SHS swimming!

To have one swimmer qualify for a national final would be an achievement. To have five boys competing at the London Aquatic Centre in a competition featuring more than 4,000 entries was truly exceptional!

Our Year 7 relay team achieved the rare feat of qualifying for both the Medley and Freestyle Relay Finals, finishing 11th and 18th respectively. There was further individual success with top-12 finishes in the UK, including an outstanding 6th place in the U12 Breaststroke Final. A huge congratulations to all the SHS boys who represented the school so brilliantly on the national stage.

Three in a row! Congratulations to our U11A cricket team who won the Tonbridge Tournament on Wednesday, making it three consecutive titles for SHS.

The boys remained unbeaten throughout the day, demonstrating outstanding skill, determination and teamwork as they were crowned worthy champions. A fantastic achievement and a wonderful team performance.

Innovation in action! Today, we were proud to host TEDxShrewsburyHouseSchoolYouth on the iconic red carpet.

Drawing on their Year 8 iPQ research, our boys delivered thought-provoking talks on some of the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing the modern world, demonstrating intellectual curiosity, creativity and confidence.

In a rapidly changing world, preparing boys for the future means helping them to think critically, communicate powerfully and engage with big ideas. Today was a wonderful example of exactly that.

It was also a pleasure to welcome colleagues from across the St Paul’s School Group to share in this inspiring event.
