Tomorrow from 10.00 - 11.00 main site to year 11 and year 14 young people to collect their results. For year 14s this will be to collect their formal exam results
Entry will be via the sports hall.

On Thursday 20 August, we will open the school between 10.00 and 11.00 to welcome year 11s and year 14s to receive their exam results.

Cookson and Parsons enjoyed an end of year visit to Roker and Seaburn seafront. The weather was beautiful and everyone had an amazing time socialising together.

Clarke class have had a brilliant end of year trip to South Shields today. They enjoyed identifying different rocks, shells and sea glass and RNLI safety flags to ensure they stayed safe near the water. They finished by cooling off with an ice cream!

6th Form Careers Visit to Northumberland Zoo

This week some of our young people were lucky enough to visit Northumberland Zoo as part of their careers education looking at different types of careers. After a talk from zoo keepers about their role and how they became zoo keepers we had the chance to touch a large snail and stick insect that looked like dried leaves as well as find out more information and look at various artefacts. We learned a lot about the needs of different animals and also saw a birds of prey show. Some young people (and colleagues) made enrichment toys to hide food in for the lemurs and the zoo kindly emailed us photos of the lemurs with the toys.
Everyone had a great time and learned a lot about caring for different animals and the role of the zoo in animal breeding.
