🌟Another English Superstar Shoutout! 🌟

Hannah has been so impressed with the resilience of these three young men - working really hard to make progress and achieve.

Oliver read a book independently, using a reading pen when things got tricky - he said it was his best book yet!

Nathan and Dan used their amazing letter sound knowledge to independently write sentences to answer comprehension questions!

Well done boys, we are really proud of you!

English Superstar Shoutout! 🌟

Hannah and Graeme were very impressed with the amazing work these young people completed in English today - they have been working on descriptive writing and retelling a story.

We were wowed by the capital letters, full stops, adjectives and similes used. But, most importantly their resilience, hard work and dedication to do their best was what shone through!

Well done, Superstars.

Remember...Reading can take you places!

Information has been sent out to families this week regarding any donations for our new Community Independence room in Meadowside.

We are not asking families to buy anything new, but we would be so grateful if families could have a think about whether they have any suitable household items at home that they may be able to donate.

A huge thank you to those who have already donated - your generosity and support are greatly appreciated!

Parsons Class visited Keel Square on Friday to attend the RAF Town Show as part of their Careers and Community Independence session.

It was fantastic to see the wide range of opportunities available within the Royal Air Force, from communication advisor, helicopter engineer to many other exciting career and volunteering pathways.

The young people had a wonderful time exploring the different exhibits and activities on offer. Everyone got fully involved, trying on helmets, handling equipment, and even taking part in an immersive virtual reality experience. They asked thoughtful questions and showed great curiosity throughout the visit.
