We love seeing the amazing learning that happens at our childminder sessions and beyond in childminder settings where learning continues through listening to our music, following the children’s interest in the theme through stories, conversations, play and songs!

Our Wild Animals theme has been wonderful with so many opportunities for rich language and big movements, creating the building blocks for all learning in the early years through meaningful musical play.

🐯 Enhancing language and communication through practicing fabulous animal sounds and rhymes. Keeping a beat and rhythm while Chris plays guitar, meaning children key into sounds and listen hard to match their movements to the music. Even the reslly little babies do this and it’s amazing to see!

🐵 Fostering personal and social development by engaging in imaginative and collaborative play with other children and engaging adults. Working as a team to tidy and look after our environment too.

🦁 Promoting Physical Development through amazing opportunities for gross motor movement as we dance, wiggle, jump, crawl and slither on our tummies.

It’s so lovely to hear childminders say that children talk about the sessions for days and remember what they have learned and how it made them feel.
Childminders who sing the songs and replicate the learning back in their setting tell us how much they love to come along and be inspired.
It’s such a privilege to work with you all!

Awww we were sent this video by a lovely gran that comes along to sessions on a Friday. Her son and his friend are both lovely dads who bring their children and she said watching them at Tweeties together had made her emotional as she’s watched them growing up together from being little boys and now seeing them as brilliant dads dancing with their babies had filled her with pride.
Well I’m pretty emotional. Eeee! 🥹🥹🥹

Well this happened today!!!!! So, so proud!!

We love doing a Bank Holiday session because it means older brothers and sisters plus m**s and dads who can’t usually get along have a chance to come and enjoy Tweeties as a family! We absolutely love seeing everyone. ❤️

Teddy came from being baby and always loved Chris and the guitar, 10 years later he is back with his little sister and he performed for us all playing Wonderwall for the whole class with all the parents joining in with the singing.
Pretty special. ❤️❤️❤️
We love that Tweeties inspires little ones musically, just so unbelievably proud. Xx
