A huge welcome to our new Access to HE students! 🎓✨

Last week, we welcomed our new students for induction and officially kicked off the 2026/27 academic year.

It was brilliant to meet everyone, introduce the team, talk through what to expect from the year ahead and start getting to know the newest members of our Access community. 💙

For many of our students, Access to HE marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, whether that’s progressing to university, changing career, or returning to education after time away.

We’re so excited to see what this group achieves over the coming year. Here’s to a fantastic 2026/27! 📚🙌

🎉 A fantastic afternoon celebrating our incredible Access to HE students! 🎉

Today we came together to recognise the hard work, resilience and dedication that our students have shown throughout the year.

From celebrating 100% attendance and presenting our College Values Awards, to enjoying cake, drinks, our selfie station and sharing messages of appreciation on our thank you board, it was the perfect way to mark the end of an amazing journey.

To every student – you should be incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved. We can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you, whether that’s university, employment or the next step in your career.

Congratulations to all of our award winners, and well done to every single one of our Access to HE students. Your determination and commitment have been inspiring, and we wish you every success for the future! 🌟

What a fantastic day at our Access to HE Applicant Event! 🎉

It was an absolute pleasure meeting so many new faces who will hopefully be joining us next academic year. Today gave everyone a real taste of life on the course through taster sessions, an inspiring talk from Northumbria University about progression opportunities, and hearing first-hand from both our incredible alumni and current students about their journeys.

We also had the privilege of celebrating the achievements of our current students with our end-of-year awards – a brilliant way to recognise all of their hard work and dedication. 🌟

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and to everyone who helped make today such a success. We can’t wait to welcome our new cohort in September! 💙

Meet the team!

Your Access to HE staff have hopped on the recent trend! From crime and psychology to humanities, health and beyond. This is the team behind the courses, bringing expertise, energy and probably too much coffee ☕

Thinking of studying with us?
You’ll be taught by people who genuinely love what they do.

Students cross different Diplomas have been completing their Concepts of Normality and Mental Health unit recently and we’ve been so impressed at the level of innovation which our students have shown!

A particular well done to and for their presentation in our immersive space today, showing true innovation!
