⭐️ MATILDA THE MUSICAL ⭐️

We are delighted to announce that we will be Directing Matilda the Musical this Summer with X Productions UK

We are looking for a superstar to play the lead role of Matilda as well casting her friends , teachers and of course … Miss Trunchball!

A 2 week summer school running Monday 12th August - Friday 23rd August with a live Stage performance on the 23rd ( Rehearsals 10am - 3.3pm in Sunderland )

•Open to all budding performers Ages 6 - 18 ( please get permission from teachers )

What a way to bounce into 2024!!!!

It’s taken me forever to write a post because I just don’t know where to start !

Our Worx anthem is ‘Proud’ … and just about sums it all up 🥹

How on earth do I put into words how I felt last night watching my dance babies pull off the most unbelievable performances, I must have welled up 50 times! love every single one of you like you’re my own , thank you for being so amazing 🙌🏻

The help I had backstage yesterday was amazing. Chaperones, teachers, dressmakers , ex pupils…. all running round like crazy people over the last few weeks and especially backstage yesterday to make sure these kids had everything they needed. We appreciate you more than I can ever say 🙏🏻

Thankyou to our college students from The Worx Academy for representing the Academy so brilliantly and for being so supportive and helpful backstage for our lower school kids.

Huge thank you as always to our fabulous faculty who we adore so much , what a Team 🥰💙💗

Lastly and most importantly thank you to my family. It really is a family business ( and that includes the family who arent part of the school! 🥴 ) without your constant support non of this would be possible.

700 smiling , crying, cheering , screaming audience members and 120 unbelievably happy stage kids performing on one of the biggest, most beautiful theatres in the UK … how lucky am I that this is my life 🥰
