🌟 Know an ambitious 14–19-year-old ready to make their voice heard? 🌟

Northern Powergrid and Solutions for the Planet are looking for young people to join the 'Focus for Future' Youth Insights Panel (2026–2027)!

This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to influence real business decisions, build their resumes, and shape the future of energy across the North East, Yorkshire, and northern Lincolnshire.

Why Join?

👥 Network & Influence: Work directly with business leaders and have a say in Northern Powergrid’s strategies.

🛠️ Build Vital Skills: Boost confidence, teamwork, and negotiation skills.

📜 Get Recognized: Earn certificates and official references for future university or job applications.

Key Details

🗓️ When: 5 online sessions (via Zoom) from October 2026 to May 2027. First session: Thursday, October 22nd.

⏰ Time Commitment: ~1.5 hours per session (after school/college), plus brief prep work and feedback.

⏳ Application Deadline: Tuesday, October 6th, 2026 (Interviews start October 8th).

From Year 9 Graduation to Year 11 GCSE results day, it has been amazing to watch them grow and see how far our wonderful students have come! 🫶
