🦉🍂 Owl Babies 🍂🦉

This term in Nursery, we are focusing on one of our Core Collection books, Owl Babies.

Outdoors, the children have been developing their fine motor skills by making pine cone owls.

Using materials described in the story, the children were able to use their creativity and imagination to carefully select and attach natural resources to their pine cones. They developed their hand-eye coordination and fine motor control as they manipulated small objects, while also talking about the different features of an owl.

The children enjoyed exploring the natural materials and creating their own unique owl characters, making links between the story and their outdoor experiences.

✨✨Settling Into Nursery ✨✨

It has been lovely to welcome our children back and see them settling into their new routines, reconnecting with friends and exploring their learning environment.

At Springboard Nursery, we know that little hands do big learning!✨ Through hands-on activities, our children are developing their fine-motor skills, coordination, concentration and independence, while having lots of fun along the way.

From manipulating and creating to exploring, building and investigating, every activity provides opportunities for our children to learn through doing and develop the skills they need for their next steps.

Take a look at some of our photos to see our children busy using their hands, exploring and learning this week!
