Exploring Teesside University 🎓

Following a guest season with Laura Fleming, Sport & Exercise First Years had the chance to visit Teesside University, diving into Sport & Exercise Science and Sport Rehabilitation courses. 🏃‍♀️💪

They took part in a variety of workshops, gaining new insights and hands-on experience, some familiar, others completely fresh. A great look at what university life has to offer! 🌟

As part of our career focused curriculum, learners collaborated with Events Of The North and Sunderland City Council, our learners worked as marshals, providing support to runners and the general public should they need it 💪

Employer Engagement 🌟

Following a hugely successful 3 days at Nottingham University (see previous post!), the outstanding opportunities for our students continued today.
The Gym Group
A huge thank you to Simone and Kev from The Gym Group who delivered a talk on Personal Training today. They offered our students job opportunities, work experience placements and more. Students had a chance to learn what type of personality they are and what that means for them when working with a client.

Team Dynamic

Our 5 students who are keen to work with Team Dynamic after their Diploma had the chance to do a foam rolling session. They also had an informal interview from Adam and Lewis to explore why they may want to be working for Team Dynamic in the future.

A hugely successful week 👏
