A great effort from our mixed Year 7 and 8 futsal team in their first set of fixtures on Thursday evening! The girls showed fantastic determination and made real progress throughout the evening, growing in confidence with every game. Their hard work and perseverance paid off as they secured an excellent 2-2 draw in their final match.

A brilliant start to their futsal journey, and plenty to build on for the future. Well done, girls!

This week, our Year 2 pupils got their green fingers going as they joined volunteers from Hope4All CIC at St Thomas’ Church in Pennywell to plant bulbs as part of a Gentoo-funded project to make Pennywell a brighter and more beautiful place to live. Each pupil had the chance to plant bluebells, daffodil or tulips, with everyone also taking some bulbs away to plant either at home or somewhere in their local neighbourhood.

We’re looking forward to seeing the results of their hard work when spring arrives. Watch out for bursts of colour appearing around Pennywell!

We certainly had a Grand Day Out yesterday. Our students explored woodlands, castles, museums, rivers and places of worship all in the exceptional North Eastern landscape. We were very impressed with the conduct of all our students!
