To the Class of 2026! Results Day is nearly here! We look forward to seeing you on Thursday for your results.

In advance of GCSE results day, we share the Class of 2026's reflections on their Argyle House School experience from their best memory to their favourite subject!

Championed by our specialist French teacher, a celebration of La Fete Nationale at Argyle House School saw all the children came to school dressed in the French colours of blue, white, and red!
Our older students set up a French cafe with traditional French delicacies available to order which presented an excellent opportunity for everyone to pratice their French language skills!

One of the summer term traditions at AHS is the annual visit to The Little Crickets Sunderland pre-schoolers through to pupils in Year 2 had a fantastically enjoyable day out meeting the animals including donkeys, guinea pigs, lamas and even feeding the lambs!

We would like to extend our heartfelt thank you to our entire Argyle House School community for their incredible support during our recent fundraising efforts for Corinne and her family.

In addition to the non-uniform day, the junior and senior water fights, our senior students organised a bake sale which was hugely successful and contributed significantly to the total amount raised.

Together, our school community is helping Corinne and her family create precious memories.

We are delighted to welcome Mrs Judith Dixon to the Argyle House School community as Nursery Manager of Little Crickets Sunderland. Passionate about giving children the very best start in life, Judith brings a warm nurturing approach and over 25 years of experience in early years education.

Argyle House School pupils visited Bowes Railway in its bicentenary year! Originally a colliery railway built to carry coal from the pits in north west Durham to the Tyne at Jarrow. The children were enthralled by touring this piece of history.
