Results will now be available for collection at St. Anthony’s on Thursday 13 August between 8:30am – 12:00pm.

🇫🇷🎶 Our Final Day in Paris! 🎶🇫🇷

Our Senior Choir’s final day in Paris began with a sunny cruise along the Seine, followed by visits to the Louvre Pyramid and Notre-Dame.

The week ended on a high with our final performance at La Madeleine, a wonderful setting in which to bring an unforgettable trip to a close.

We have all had a fantastic week and are incredibly proud of our students, who have represented St Anthony’s brilliantly throughout their time in Paris. A week of music, memories and experiences we won’t forget!

🩷 Remembering Maggie 🩷

Today we have marked one year since we lost our much-loved student and friend, Maggie.

This morning, Maggie’s form class, friends and teachers joined her parents for a special Mass led by Fr Christopher, taking time to remember and celebrate her life.

Across the school, students and staff have worn pink today in Maggie’s memory, raising funds for the Great North Air Ambulance Service and showing their support for a charity that has become so important to our community.

Maggie’s parents were presented with a certificate and medal, and we shared the news that her name will also appear on a Great North Air Ambulance Service helicopter.

🌈 Sunderland Schools' Colour Run 🌈

Well done to our group of students who participated in the Sunderland Schools' Colour Run on Wednesday. We had a fabulous time taking on various challenges and navigating obstacles, all whilst being covered from head to toe in paint! Everyone did extremely well and were all a credit to the school.

🔬🌿 Year 12 Explore Sunderland University 🌿🔬

Our Year 12 students recently enjoyed a fantastic visit to the Darwin Garden at the University of Sunderland, where they collected plant samples and experienced cutting-edge scientific analysis in a university laboratory.

Using gas chromatography, students investigated the chemical compounds found within plants, developing their practical skills and gaining valuable insight into the techniques used by professional scientists.

A brilliant opportunity to experience life in a university lab and see science in action beyond the classroom!

🇫🇷 Day 2 in Paris! ☀️🎶

Another fabulous day in Paris for our Senior Choir! Today, they climbed to the top of the Arc de Triomphe, enjoyed lunch at the foot of the Eiffel Tower and performed their concert in Parc Montsouris.

An unforgettable day of sightseeing and music in the scorching Paris sunshine!
