Highfield Herald 17.07.2026 Last week our attendance was 92%

We have had so much fun this afternoon splashing about on our field. We loved squirting each other with water and throwing the water balloons. We especially loved squirting our teachers!! It was a lovely way to end such a fantastic year in Reception.

Thank you to all parents and carers who came to our Nursery Sports Day. Hope you all had as much fun as we did!

Ahead of the England game on Saturday, we are holding a Football Friday this week at Highfield. Children can come to school dressed in football kit for a donation of £1. This money will be used to fund a Hallowe’en disco in the autumn term.

We look forward to seeing you all at our sports day for years 1-6 tomorrow. 🏃‍♂️

The times are as follows:

Y1, 2 and 3 - 9am-10:30 ⏰
Y4, 5 and 6 - 10:45am-12noon ⏰

Can we remind parents/carers to ensure that your child has a water bottle, sun cream applied and to bring a sun hat/cap. ☀️ 🧢

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available for £1. ☕️

For safety reasons can parents please stay behind the barriers on the field.

At the end of the sports day children will be taken back to their classes by the class teacher.
