Hey, I’m Sarah.

If you’re new here, welcome.

I’m the Founder & Director of NECTA, a Registered Nurse Prescriber, former NHS Physiotherapist and educator.

My background in healthcare has shaped everything NECTA has become. I’m passionate about evidence-based practice, skin health, patient safety and natural results — whether I’m treating a patient or teaching the next generation of practitioners.

NECTA has two sides.

North East Cosmetics (Our clinic) | Training Academy (Our training)

I teach healthcare professionals and skin practitioners at different stages of their careers, from foundation training through to advanced aesthetics and skin. My aim isn’t simply to help you gain a certificate — it’s to help you understand why you’re doing something and leave feeling safe, confident and competent in practice.

Alongside teaching, I’m a Key Opinion Leader for L'Oréal a global leader in beauty as well as their Medical Dermatology secret where they are using medical brands like La Roche-Posay and CeraVe and getting them on prescription. I generally speak with my experience in medical aesthetics about skin health, injectable treatments, patient safety and the complications that can occur within aesthetics to GPs, Skin Cancer nurses and Dermatologist registrars from all over the North East.

Then there’s our Hybrid Clinical Medispa.

I personally specialise in medical aesthetics, injectables, regenerative treatments and advanced skin, and teaching which combines my nursing and physiotherapy backgrounds with an approach centred around results, health and wellbeing.

Working alongside me is Laurie, our PMU Artist & Skin Therapist, specialising in permanent brows, advanced skin treatments and facials, with her PMU offering continuing to expand.

We also have Evie who joins us once a week to provide Reiki, angel card readings and also offers sound baths.

Together, we’re building something a little different at NECTA — a place where education meets clinical practice, and clinical expertise meets relaxation and wellbeing.
