School Year 2026-2027: Key Dates 💚

🌟 Another Sneaky Peek at the Summer Transformation at Pallion! 🌟

The summer holidays may still be in full swing, but our team has been working hard to create incredible new opportunities for our learners at The Link School, Pallion too! 👀

🏫 The Conference Centre has undergone a complete transformation, becoming the home of our brand-new REACH Hub Provision. Designed to support up to 24 learners, the refurbished space now includes two dedicated classrooms and a range of specialist support areas. The REACH Hub will provide targeted support for learners in Years 7-11, helping them to successfully transition and reintegrate back into mainstream education.

🌿 Our exciting Green Earth School outdoor learning space is now complete, creating new opportunities for environmental education, outdoor learning, wellbeing activities, and hands-on experiences that connect learners with the world around them.

⚽ We are also developing brand-new outdoor sports courts, strengthening our sports provision pathway and creating even more opportunities for learners to participate, develop confidence, improve wellbeing, and experience success through physical activity.

🎮 And the innovation continues with the creation of our second Esports classroom, supporting the launch of our enhanced Esports curriculum and the opportunity for learners to achieve BTEC accreditation in Esports. This exciting pathway will help develop teamwork, communication, digital literacy, leadership and future employment skills.

🌟 Sneak Peek: Summer Transformation at Springwell Dene 🌟

While our learners have been enjoying a well-earned summer break, there has been lots happening behind the scenes to make September even more exciting! 👀

🚜 Our brand-new polytunnel is taking shape, creating fantastic opportunities for hands-on learning, growing, and nurturing responsibility.

🌳 We have been developing beautiful outdoor learning spaces to support mindfulness, wellbeing, Forest School activities, and opportunities for learners to connect with nature.

🖍️ Our KS1 area is being completely refurbished, creating two brand-new classrooms for our EYFS and KS1 learners, designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning from the very start of their journey.

💙 We are also creating a dedicated KS2 therapeutic learning classroom, providing a nurturing and supportive environment where learners can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

🎮 And that's not all! The first of our brand-new Esports classrooms is coming to life, offering exciting opportunities to develop teamwork, communication, digital skills, and future career aspirations.

Something new is growing at The Link School… 💚 We are SO excited for our new Mindfulness & Forest School spaces with our brand new poly tunnels which will be ready for the new school term! A space for our young people to slow down, breathe, explore, create, plant, grow and reconnect with nature. 🌱 Planting seeds and intentions 🌿 Getting our hands in the soil 🐝 Discovering the world around us 👣 Exploring through our senses 🌳 Forest school adventures 🧘 Mindful moments and nervous system resets 💚 Growing confidence, connection and resilience And perhaps most importantly… A space where we can grow plants while growing ourselves. Today we were reminded of just how amazing our universe can be as we witnessed the wonder of a solar eclipse. For a few magical moments, the Moon passed between the Earth and the Sun, creating a spectacular display that inspired curiosity, excitement and awe.

At The Link School, experiences like these are more than just memorable moments.
