We hope you’re all having the most amazing summer together! ☀️🏖️ We certainly have after enjoying two wonderful family holidays, and we’re now back feeling refreshed, recharged, and very excited for what’s coming next! 🥰

We’ve been busy with Big Science🧪🔬 and we’re also so excited to be welcoming the lovely Vicki to the Mini Science family! 💛 She’s currently training and getting everything ready for her brand-new classes starting this September with Mini Science County Durham 🎉 Be sure to follow the page so you’ll be the first to know when bookings go live! 🚀🔍

Meanwhile, we’re already looking ahead to one of our favourite times of year… Autumn Term! 🍂🍁🧡 It’s always so lovely catching up with our returning families while welcoming lots of new mini scientists too. 🥰

🍋 Monday 3rd August – Summer Lemonade Science
Children will create and mix their own refreshing summer lemonade while discovering the science behind everyday ingredients. They'll learn all about acids and alkalis through fun, hands-on experiments!

🌈 Friday 14th August – Unicorn Noodles
Watch science come to life as children use special indicators to create magical rainbow noodles, exploring fascinating colour-changing chemical reactions right before their eyes.

I'm super excited to announce the first venue for Mini Science County Durham classes, Croxdale Community Centre.

The last week of term fun continued at Roker Methodist Church this morning with our fabulous Mini Scientists! 🧪✨

Today we made some beautiful Class of 2026 keepsakes to treasure forever. 🖐️❤️

We also said goodbye to some of our wonderful Mini Scientists who are heading off to nursery in September. 🌟 We are so proud of each and every one of you! You’ve been amazing mini scientists, and we know your new teachers are going to be so impressed.

Neil can’t wait to see many of you at Big Science over the summer. He absolutely loves seeing our Mini Scientists grow in confidence and continue smashing it at Big Science! 🔬🚀👏
