We are pleased to share an important update with our community.

From today, 1st September, our Trust will officially become part of Tyne and Wear Learning Trust. This marks an exciting new chapter for our school, our pupils, families and staff.

Tyne and Wear Learning Trust will be a Trust of six schools, led by Chief Executive Officer, Mrs Ashley Emmerson.

We recognise that any change can lead to questions, and we will continue to keep parents, carers, pupils and staff informed as we move through this transition.

For further information about Tyne and Wear Learning Trust, please visit their website:

Thank you for your continued support as we begin this exciting new chapter together.

💙 Thank you for being part of our journey 💙

As we come to the end of term, we want to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been part of our story.

To our pupils, families, staff, governors, trustees, partners, and wider communities, thank you for your commitment, support, dedication, and the countless contributions you have made. Together, we have achieved so much and created memories that will remain a valued part of our history.

We would also like to recognise our CEO, Mrs. Sue Bell, who is retiring after an incredible 40 years in education. Mrs. Bell’s passion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to children and young people have made a lasting difference, and her contribution to our Trust community will be remembered with great appreciation.

As we move forward and our schools become part of Tyne and Wear Learning Trust, we do so with pride in all that we have achieved together.

Thank you to everyone who has played a part in our journey. We will always value the relationships, achievements, and memories we have shared. 💙

Spotted our local hero, the absolute legend Jill Scott - JS8, smashing her way through the final leg of her epic Coming Home Challenge! 🏃‍♀️💨

We grabbed a late lunch just in time to catch her flying past the Board Inn. What an incredible 388-mile journey from Wembley back to Sunderland for Sport Relief! 🔴⚪️
